Madrid, Spain – The Miami Dolphins will host a series of events for fans in Madrid ahead of the NFL’s first-ever game in Spain at the iconic Bernabéu Stadium on Sunday, Nov 16. The week-long line-up will bring a Dolphins presence to the streets of Madrid as the team continues its mission of connecting with fans internationally and advancing the growth of football abroad.
From Thursday, Nov. 13 through Saturday, Nov. 15, La Plaza De España, located in the heart of the city, will transform into the ultimate Miami Dolphins Fan Zone presented by Sports Illustrated Tickets, serving as the hub for fans traveling abroad and new and old fans alike in the market. The plaza will include a variety of activations from football skills, games and trivia to a main stage with live entertainment each day from 12:00h to 22:00h. Fans can also win giveaways, enjoy a variety of food and beverage offerings and catch appearances from Miami Dolphins players, cheerleaders and alumni. Sports Illustrated Tickets is also the Official Fan Experience Partner of the Dolphins for the NFL Madrid Game.
In addition to the Fan Zone, the Miami Dolphins are transforming iconic locations throughout the city in their campaign to Paint Madrid Aqua. Fans can look forward to the Dolphins Aqua Bus Tour, multiple pub takeovers, discovering giant inflatable TDs (the Dolphins mascot), several buildings lit up in aqua around town, international fan club meet ups and new merchandise launches that include collaborations with New Era, Mitchell & Ness, and Pompeii, a Madrid based refined lifestyle brand. The Dolphins Aqua Bus Tour is free and is on a first come, first serve basis, offering fans a chance to see iconic landmarks around Madrid.

The Miami Dolphins will also run three youth football camps during the week – the Dolphins x Commanders Joint Flag Football Clinic (Nov. 13), a Junior Dolphins Clinic at Metropolitano Stadium (Nov. 14) and the NFL Flag Football Championship at Campo Las Leonas (Nov. 15) – as part of their ongoing commitment to students participating in the sport worldwide.
The Miami Dolphins gained marketing rights to Spain through the Global Markets Program (GMP) in 2022 as part of the NFL’s initiative to strengthen clubs’ international fan bases. Over the past three years, the Dolphins have established a long-term presence in Spain, hosting watch parties for games, arranging fan club meetups with Dolphins alumni and supporting youth football and NFL Flag camps. The Dolphins will continue these efforts in Spain in the future.
