Nike is once again combining the Kobe Sheath and the Barça crest for the second consecutive season, blending Kobe Bryant’s renowned Mamba Mentality with FC Barcelona’s long-standing commitment to excellence in an away kit and collection for a club known for its fearless approach.
The partnership expands upon the initial Kobe x FC Barcelona collection, which marked the first introduction of the Kobe Sheath to professional football. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to advancing the sport and inspiring the next generation of athletes.
The 2026–27 kit embodies Kobe’s Mamba Mentality through thoughtfully designed details that are both visually and tactually engaging, instilling confidence grounded in evidence. A black Mamba texture pays homage to Kobe’s relentless dedication, while a Field Purple base continues the legacy of the color he popularized. Gold accents reflect an unwavering pursuit of championships, and an iridescent crest symbolizes the meticulous attention to detail necessary to succeed at the highest level.
One of Kobe’s most enduring messages is inscribed at the inner collar as a fitting call to athletes who don’t see fear as an option and understand glory is earned by putting in the work: “Leave the game better than you found it.”
The kit features Nike’s Aero-FIT performance cooling technology, which utilizes lightweight breathability to support athletes in performing at their highest level under various conditions.
A comprehensive selection of training apparel and sportswear reflects the partners’ commitment to excellence, extending from the pitch to everyday wear. The collection includes jackets, T-shirts, a hoodie, joggers, shorts, and wide-leg pants, all adorned with the Kobe Sheath and Barça crest.
Additionally, distinctive motifs are incorporated into exclusive designs of two classic Nike footwear silhouettes, the Dunk Low and Kobe 3.
Now in its second season, the collaboration honors Kobe’s lifelong passion for football and his admiration for FC Barcelona’s dynamic style and philosophy. The new Kobe x FC Barcelona kit will be available worldwide beginning July 24 at nike.com, Barça Official Stores, and select Nike retail locations.
