Apple Sports, the free iPhone app that provides fans with real-time scores, statistics, and more, efficiently and straightforwardly, has today expanded its offerings to include golf among its supported sports.
Golf enthusiasts can stay updated on each tournament as they progress by accessing live scores for all official PGA Tour and LPGA Tour events, beginning this weekend with the PGA Tour’s WM Phoenix Open.

Fans can follow their preferred players throughout each event by accessing comprehensive hole-by-hole results, individual scorecards, and live leaderboards, in addition to viewing scores from every round of each tournament conducted throughout the year.
This release also includes the addition of several of Europe’s most prominent football federation cups: the DFB-Pokal, Coupe de France, Coppa Italia, and Copa del Rey.
This weekend’s significant lineup of professional sporting events, including football’s premier game of the year, provides fans with the personalized Apple Sports home experience to stay updated on their favorite teams and leagues. Events are organized by league, with intuitive controls allowing users to customize their preferred order, and favorite teams are displayed at the top for quick access to scores and updates.
Live Activities from Apple Sports provide real-time updates directly to a user’s iPhone Lock Screen and Apple Watch. Additionally, Game Card Sharing allows fans to share their enthusiasm for upcoming tournaments or matches across all supported leagues and competitions.
