Rodri of Spain was named the best player at the FIFA World Cup 2026™ after the official awards were announced. He won the adidas Golden Ball, awarded by the FIFA Technical Study Group (TSG) to the best player. Lionel Messi of Argentina and Kylian Mbappe of France finished second and third, respectively.
Kylian Mbappe won the adidas Golden Boot with 10 goals and 4 assists, while Lionel Messi collected the Silver Boot and Jude Bellingham of England the Bronze.

The United States advances to the Round of 16, potentially without their star player.

Unai Simón of Spain collected the adidas Golden Glove, while the Netherlands took the FIFA Fair Play Trophy presented by McDonald’s. The Young Player Award presented by Aramco went to Pau Cubarsi of Spain.

The Golden Boot will be awarded to the player who scores the most goals in the final competition. If two or more players score the same number of goals, the number of assists shall be decisive. If two or more players are still equal after taking into account the number of assists, the total minutes played in the tournament will be taken into account, with the player playing fewer minutes ranked first. A Silver Boot and a Bronze Boot for the second and third-highest goal scorers will also be awarded.
