The United States advances to the Round of 16, potentially without their star player.

United States I have good news and I bad news.

The United States, with a 10-player squad, secured a 2-0 victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina to advance to the Round of 16. That is the good news.

The bad news.

Folarin Balogun scored his third World Cup goal before being sent off with a red card in the second half. He will likely be unavailable for the upcoming match.

Brazil is operating at full capacity and has advanced to the knockout stage.

Balogun committed a foul against Tarik Muharemovic in the 64th minute.

The victory over Bosnia marked only the second time the United States advanced to the knockout stage of the World Cup.

This victory secures a match against Belgium scheduled for Monday in Seattle.

Hopefully, this run on us U.S. soil continues.
