Adidas announces the TRIONDA FINAL, the official match ball for the semi-finals, third-place playoff, and final of the FIFA World Cup 2026™, crafted to enhance the key moments in international football.
Building on the TRIONDA Official Match Ball introduced in October 2025, the TRIONDA FINAL enhances the design of the Official Match Ball while retaining the same performance-driven construction. For the first time in FIFA World Cup™ history, adidas expands beyond a traditional color update by introducing a dedicated design that captures the significance of the tournament’s concluding matches.

The design of TRIONDA FINAL is inspired by the journey toward football’s premier achievement. The premium gold finish pays homage to the FIFA World Cup™ trophy, set against a black base to enhance the ball’s appearance and convey a sophisticated aesthetic for the final stages of the tournament. This is further complemented by dynamic accents of pink and red, adding vibrancy to the design and establishing a visual connection to the footwear worn on the field.
TRIONDA FINAL honors the host cities of the tournament’s championship matches through a distinctive typographic design integrated into the panel graphics. The four final host cities—Dallas, Atlanta, Miami, and New York/New Jersey—are prominently displayed within the main design elements, while the other host cities are incorporated into the triangular graphic details. This layered storytelling approach enhances the overall visual presentation of the ball.
The ball features the same four-panel construction, panel shape, and surface texture as the TRIONDA, ensuring consistent performance on the field from the first match to the final whistle of the tournament. Designed with intentionally deep seams and strategically placed surface textures, the construction optimizes aerodynamics and flight stability. The TRIONDA FINAL is also equipped with the latest version of adidas Connected Ball Technology, providing real-time ball data to assist officials in making quicker decisions and offering enhanced insights into the game.
