Denver Nuggets show case history to a win over Miami Heat in Game 3

History was made at the 2023 NBA Finals.

Two players from the same team had 30-point triple-doubles in the same game.

It has never happened in the regular season, playoffs, and NBA Finals.

Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray became the first teammates in NBA Finals History to record triple-doubles as the Denver Nuggets take a 2-1 series lead over the Miami Heat after a 109-94 win in Game 3.

“He is making it look easy,” Nuggets guard Murray said. “I’m running out of words to say.”

Jokic finished with 32 points, 21 rebounds, and ten assists. Murray had 34 points, ten rebounds, and ten assists.

Murray became the first player with ten assists in the first three career Finals games.

Nuggets outrebound the Heat 58-33.

Jokic and Murray combined for 24 field goals. Miami combined for 34.

Jokic and Murray combined for 31 rebounds, and Miami combined for 33.

“We’re going to have to figure it out,” Heat forward Jimmy Butler said.

Butler finished with 22 points, Bam Adebayo 22 points and 17 rebounds.

Nuggets led in the game by as many as 21 points.

Game 4 is Friday.
