The Dolphins make me cry, Jalen Ramsey secures a decisive interception, as the Miami Dolphins triumph over the Las Vegas Raiders despite facing three turnovers

It was the Jalen Ramsey game.

Miami Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey caught a game-sealing interception to help stop the Las Vegas Raiders’ fourth-quarter comeback and hold off the Raiders, as the Dolphins won 20-13.

“We’re all together. At times, the offense will have our back; at times, the defense got to have their back,” Ramsey said. “We’ve got special teams, and those guys can go out there and make some plays. Yeah, it’s just a complete team.”

Ramsey also intercepted Raiders quarterback Aidan O’Connell earlier in the game, giving him two interceptions in a game where the Dolphins’ defense outshined the offense.

Ramsey played in just his third game with the Dolphins. After a two-interception performance, he has three interceptions in those three games.

“He got the crowd going,” Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa said.

Dolphins overcame three turnovers, scoring their fewest points all year, and remain undefeated at home this season.

The Dolphins are now 5-0 at home this year and are one of just three NFL teams to remain perfect at home this season, joining the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys.

Raiders had 296 yards of total offense and three turnovers.

“Today was more about our mistakes, I would say, beating ourselves up a little bit,” Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams said. “Good defense again, but we just got to do a better job of making it easier on the team by taking care of our part and playing complementary football.”

Adams finished with 82 yards receiving, including a 46-yard touchdown.

Raiders had a two-game winning streak snapped to go 5-6 and 1-5 on the road.

Dolphins at 7-3 add to their hold atop the AFC East.

The Dolphins are 7-3 for the second consecutive season. The last time Miami opened back-to-back seasons 7-3 was in 2000-01.

The Dolphins made a big move by acquiring Ramsey and giving him a substantial contract. Dolphins General Manager Chris Grier and head coach Mike McDaniel look excellent in their decision.

Ramsey’s performance since returning from the knee injury has been sensational. However, the defense as a whole is fantastic. The talent on the defensive line and linebackers is impressive, and the secondary is healthy.

The offense played very well in spurts in the first half but could have been better in the second half. If they want to beat the better teams they will be facing later in the season; the offense needs to be more explosive than it was today.

Raiders play host to the Kansas City Chiefs next Sunday.

Dolphins visit the New York Jets in the first NFL scheduled Black Friday game.
