Naomi Osaka had run at Miami Open end after loss to Caroline Garcia

Naomi is ranked 229 in the world entering the Miami Open; however, she is still a big draw for tennis fans.

Osaka’s visit to Miami ended after 27th-ranked Caroline Garcia defeated her in close straight sets, 7-6, 7-5.

It was a close match on both sides and the best we have played so far,” Garcia stated.

There were 28 aces served between both women; Garcia had 16.

Garcia takes here talents to the 4th round to face Coco Gauff.

After 15 months away from the game after giving birth to her daughter Shai, Osaka is 7-6.

“It was a serving match; she was committed to what she was doing,” Osaka said.

Osaka was leading 4-2 in the second when Garcia broke back.

Osaka continues to share her love for Miami and the fans, but the Miami Open title still eludes her.
