It was game 4; Derrick White was a bucket for the Boston Celtics.
The Boston Celtics have complete control of this first-round Eastern Conference series after Derrick White scored a career playoff-high 38 points and led the Celtics past the Miami Heat 102-88 to take a 3-1 series lead.
White’s performance was marked by his exceptional shooting, making a playoff-high of eight 3-pointers. He also showcased his defensive prowess with three blocks, further solidifying his impact on the game.
“I’m having fun out there; the bench is going crazy,” White said. “Competing on the biggest is what it is all about.”
The Celtics won at Miami for the sixth straight time. However, the win came with a cost: Kristaps Porzingis went down with a calf injury.
Boston Celtics stamped their authority over Miami Heat, a commanding victory and a 2-1 series lead
Bam Adebayo had 25 points and 17 rebounds in front of a crowd that included Lionel Messi.
The Heat were still without Jimmy Butler and Terry Rozier. In the second half, Miami lost rookie starter Jaime Jaquez Jr. with leg tightness; he will be evaluated on Tuesday.
The Heat were down by 28 points, scoring their 50th point late in the 3rd quarter.
