Kamren Kinchens is among the standout players in the NFC

NEW YORK, NY. — New Orleans Saints tight end Taysom Hill, Los Angeles Rams safety Kamren Kinchens, and Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Karl Brooks are the NFC Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week for Week 11 (November 14, 17-18).

OFFENSE: TE TAYSOM HILL, NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

  • Hill had eight receptions, 188 scrimmage yards (138 rushing, 50 receiving) and three rushing touchdowns in the Saints’ 35-14 win over Cleveland. He became the first non-running back in NFL history with at least 125 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns in a game.
  • This is the third-career Player of the Week award and second Offensive Player of the Week award for Hill, becoming the first New Orleans player with at least two offensive honors and one special teams honor.
    • 2018: Week 14 (Special Teams)
    • 2022: Week 5 (Offense)
    • 2024: Week 11 (Offense)
  • Hill becomes the fourth former BYU player to earn Offensive Player of the Week multiple times, joining Pro Football Hall of Famer Steve Young (12-time winner), Jim McMahon (two) and Marc Wilson (two).

DEFENSE: S KAMREN KINCHENS, LOS ANGELES RAMS

  • Kinchens recorded eight tackles, an interception, a tackle for loss and forced fumble in the Rams’ 28-22 victory at New England. He is the first rookie since 2000 with an interception, tackle for loss, forced fumble and five-or-more tackles in a game
  • This is the second-career Defensive Player of the Week Award for Kinchens, as he becomes the first rookie defensive back ever to win multiple Defensive Player of the Week awards.
    • 2024: Weeks 9, 11
  • Kinchens becomes the third former Miami Hurricane to win multiple Defensive Player of the Week awards in a single season, joining Pro Football Hall of Famer Ed Reed (2008) and Antrel Rolle (2007).

SPECIAL TEAMS: DL KARL BROOKS, GREEN BAY PACKERS

  • Brooks blocked a field goal on the final play of regulation to secure the Packers’ 20-19 victory over the Bears.
  • This is the first-career Special Teams Player of the Week award for Brooks, as he becomes the first Packers defensive lineman to win the award.
  • Brooks becomes the third former Bowling Green player to win a Player of the Week award.
