The FIA and Formula 1 have officially announced the calendar for the 2025 season, which will commemorate the 75th anniversary

The FIA and Formula 1 have officially announced the calendar for the 2025 season, which will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the FIA Formula One World Championship.

The schedule includes 24 races, starting in Australia on March 16 and concluding in Abu Dhabi on December 7. In 2025, Ramadan will take place during March, leading to the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix being rescheduled to April.

“The 2025 FIA Formula One World Championship calendar, approved by the World Motor Sport Council, is a further illustration of our collective mission of meeting sustainability objectives through the regionalisation of events,” President of the FIA Mohammed Ben Sulayem said. “While our focus is on the overall stability of Formula 1, we also have a shared duty to the environment and to the health and well-being of travelling staff.”

The adjustments made to the calendar in 2024 to enhance the geographical flow of races have been extended into 2025. Japan is scheduled for April, following Australia and China. This will be primarily followed by the European races during the summer and the races in the Americas in the autumn, concluding with back-to-back events in Qatar and Abu Dhabi at the end of the season.
