The new FIFA Club World Cup™ has commenced with a notable showcase of the global appeal of club football, attracting over 340,000 fans who have contributed to vibrant atmospheres, enthusiastic support, and memorable moments during the initial three matchdays. As of Tuesday, 17 June, FIFA has sold approximately 1.5 million tickets, with interest remaining strong, as four of the five highest-selling group stage matches are scheduled to take place.

On Saturday, June 14,, a crowd of 60,927 attended the tournament opening match at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium, featuring record African champions Al Ahly FC against Major League Soccer’s Inter Miami CF. The following day, 80,619 spectators gathered at the historic Rose Bowl in Los Angeles to watch European clubs Paris Saint-Germain and Atlético de Madrid, marking the largest audience these teams have hosted during their 2024/25 campaigns.
The enthusiasm for the tournament extends beyond the playing field. Across cities such as Times Square and South Beach, spontaneous fan celebrations have brought communities together, highlighting how the event unites people through football. Regarding ticket purchases from over 130 countries, the United States leads in the number of tickets sold, followed by enthusiastic supporters from Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Canada, France, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Portugal.
Among the upcoming group stage matches, the most in-demand tickets include Real Madrid C.F. versus CF Pachuca, Al Hilal, and FC Salzburg; the highly anticipated fixture between Germany’s FC Bayern München and Argentina’s CA Boca Juniors in Miami; and CR Flamengo versus Chelsea FC from England in Philadelphia. Each of these matches is projected to attract an attendance exceeding 50,000 spectators.
The tournament includes teams from 20 countries and players representing a total of 81 nations, making it the most diverse event in FIFA’s history. The series of 63 matches will culminate with the final on Sunday, July 13th at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
As part of an initiative to raise USD 100 million for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, launched in April 2025 by FIFA President Gianni Infantino and Global Citizen CEO Hugh Evans, FIFA will contribute USD 1 for each tournament ticket sold. The fund aims to enhance access to quality education and football opportunities for children worldwide.
