Toronto – Inter Miami CF secured a 1-1 draw on the road against Toronto FC on Saturday afternoon, extending their unbeaten streak to four matches in the current regular season. Attacker Tadeo Allende scored the team’s goal during the match at BMO Field in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Inter Miami fielded Óscar Ustari as goalkeeper; the defense consisted of Ian Fray, Maximiliano Falcón, Noah Allen, and Jordi Alba; the midfield lineup included Allende, Rodrigo De Paul, Sergio Busquets, and Baltasar Rodríguez; and captain Lionel Messi, along with Luis Suárez, led the attack.

The team created an early scoring opportunity in the 12th minute when Rodríguez delivered a right-footed shot from the top of the box, forcing a diving save from Toronto’s goalkeeper.
Messi came close to scoring in the 29th minute after receiving a pass from Busquets inside the box, but his shot to the left post was saved.
At the other end, Ustari made a notable save in the 35th minute, diving to deny a ground shot from Alonso Coello just outside the box on the right side of the pitch.
Following a strong attempt by Messi that was stopped just before halftime, Inter Miami took the lead in stoppage time of the first half when Allende headed home a precise cross from Alba from the left flank at the far post. This goal, scored in the first minute of added time, was Allende’s ninth of the season, and Alba registered his 11th assist in league play.
The Florida Panthers commenced the season with a victory, continuing their recent success.
Toronto FC equalized in the 60th minute with a goal from Djordje Mihailovic.
Inter Miami pressed for a second goal in the remaining minutes, but the match concluded in a 1-1 draw. The team’s most notable chances included a shot from Messi just inside the box to the near post in the 76th minute, which was saved, and a dangerous free kick attempt in the 83rd minute that was also stopped by Toronto’s goalkeeper.
Inter Miami will quickly turn its attention to the next match, hosting Chicago Fire FC on Tuesday, September 30 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
