Week one of the Miami Open is in the books.

The weather, atmosphere, and tennis for the men and women have been impressive.

2018 Miami Open champion Sloane Stephens was eliminated in her opening match by Shelby Rodgers.

LeBron passes Kareem to become NBA’s all-time leading scorer, King James speaks about life and basketball at this point in his surreal career

My pick to win for the men is “Carlitos” Carlos Alcarez looks on track to defend his title and pursue his quest for the sunshine double.

Russian Daniil Medvedev is a threat to “Carlitos” as he has reached the fourth round.

For the women, it is a coin flip between American Jessica Pegula and Aryna Sabalenka.

Pegula is ranked 3rd, has Venus William’s old coach, and is still hungry for her first major win.

Sabalenka won the Australian Open and has impressive athleticism.
