Miami Heat back to NBA’s final four top New York Knicks 96-92 for series win, Jalen Brunson dominant

The Miami Heat are taking their talents to the Eastern Conference Finals. It will be their third time in the past four seasons and 10th time overall.

The Heat closed out the New York Knicks 96-92 for a 4-2 series win.

Jimmy Butler scored 24 points; Bam Adebayo added 23 points.

“We are one step closer to our goal,” Butler said.

The Heat are the second number-eight seed in NBA History to make the conference finals joining the Knicks, who pulled it off in 1999.

Jalen Brunson was spectacular for the Knicks, scoring 41 points; his teammates combined for only 51 points.

The Knicks were down two with 54.1 to play, but the Heat got stops and forced turnovers.

The Heat will play game one at either Boston or Philadelphia on Wednesday.
