The Chicago Sky lost to the Las Vegas Aces inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Tuesday, Sept. 3. The Sky are now 11-22 on the season, 7-10 on the road, 6-10 against the Western Conference and 21-26 against the Aces’ franchise all time. Chicago finishes the season series with a 1-3 record.
Michaela Onyenwere led the Sky in scoring for the third time in four games with 15 points. Angel Reese notched a 12-point, 16-rebound double-double while Kamilla Cardoso recorded 14 points and three steals. The Sky got 27 bench points, with Dana Evans scoring 13 and Isabelle Harrison adding eight.
A’ja Wilson led the Aces in scoring with a 30-point, 14-rebound double-double. She scored 21 points in the second half, including 15 in the fourth quarter. Tiffany Hayes recorded 20 points while Chelsea Gray recorded 13 points and a season-high 10 assists. Jackie Young rounded out Vegas’s double-figure scorers with 15 points, six rebounds and six assists.

The Sky return home for a three-game home stretch that includes matchups with the Los Angeles Sparks, Dallas Wings and Washington Mystics. The first such game is on Friday, Sept. 6 against the Sparks. The Sky are 2-0 this season against Los Angeles.
