Miami Heat dominate Boston Celtics, take 3-0 lead in Eastern Conference finals

Who saw that coming? Nobody.

Gabe Vincent scored a career-high 29 points leading the eight-seeded Miami Heat to a dominating 128-102 win over the Boston Celtics to take a 3-0 lead in the Eastern Conference finals.

Every team in NBA history that has won the first three games of a best of seven has prevailed. The Heat are 8-0 in that situation.

Jimmy Butler scores 27, Miami beats Boston 111-105 to take 2-0 lead in East finals

“I try to be a voice for coach Spoelstra on the court,” Vincent said.

Vincent scored more than the 26 points Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum combined for the Celtics.

The second-seeded Celtics got within 61-49; the rest was all Miami, who led by as many as 33.

Game four is Tuesday in downtown Miami.
