The Georgia Bulldogs scored 42 first-half points—the Florida State Seminoles 3.
The Bulldogs did not play starting quarterback Carson Beck in the second half. They dominate a short-handed Seminoles team 63-3 to become 2023 Orange Bowl champions.
“There is not a moment, not a game that is not important at Georgia,” Bulldogs head coach Kirby Smart said.
The 60-point win sets a new record for all bowl games.
The Seminoles committed four turnovers in the game, finishing with 209 yards of offense compared to 673 from the Bulldogs.
“It has been a difficult night and a difficult month,” Seminoles head coach Mike Norvell said.
It was the worst loss for Florida State in program history.
Bulldogs averaged nearly nine yards per play for the game.
