Klay Thompson led with 28 points as a starter, propelling the Golden State Warriors to a decisive victory over the Miami Heat with a strong second half performance

Late in March, both teams are fighting to position themselves in the play-in standings at their conferences.

Klay Thompson returned to the Golden State Warriors’ starting lineup and scored 28 points. Jonathan Kuminga added 18 points, and the Warriors dominated the second half, taking down the Heat 113-92.

“I take great pride in trying to be my best nightly,” Thompson said.

Los Angeles Lakers demonstrated a strong offensive performance by scoring 87 points in the first half, resulting in a victory over the New Orleans Pelicans

The Warriors were down two at the half but blew a 22-point lead in the second half.

The Heat was without Jimmy Butler, who had an illness. Tyler Herro missed his 16th consecutive game, Kevin Love missed his 14th consecutive game, and Duncan Robinson missed his fourth in a row.

Bam Adebayo scored 24 points.

Miami fell to 2-16 when it scored less than 103 points.
