With Reese’s 12th straight double-double, she tied the all-time record for consecutive double-doubles by any player in WNBA history. She tied Candace Parker, who had 12 straight spanning the 2009-10 seasons, and a double-double in Sunday’s game would give her the all-time record.

Reese passed Latasha Byears (87 offensive rebounds in rookie season) for 12th on the WNBA’s all-time rookie offensive rebounds list with 93 after Friday’s game.

Reese then passed Tamika Catchings (91 offensive rebounds in rookie season) for 11th on the WNBA’s all-time rookie offensive rebounds list with 93.

Reese is the fourth first-year player with 25+ points, 10+ rebounds, 2+ made three-pointers and 2+ blocks in a game, joining Lisa Leslie, Tamika Catchings and Satou Sabally (Across the Timeline).

Kamilla Cardoso stuffed the stat sheet for Chicago, recording nine points, eight rebounds, two blocks, a steal and an assist. Marina Mabrey did the same, notching eight points, four rebounds and a team-high seven assists.

All five of Seattle’s starters scored in double figures. Jordan Horston led the team in scoring with a season-high 20 points to go along with six rebounds. Ezi Magbegor recorded a career-high eight blocks to go along with 13 points and eight rebounds. Skylar Diggins-Smith notched a season-high-tying nine assists to go along with 12 points.

Nneka Ogwumike (16 points) and Jewell Loyd (13 points) rounded out Seattle’s double-figure scorers while Mercedes Russell tied her season high with eight points off the bench.
