Miami Hurricanes football received All-ACC honors

CORAL GABLES, FL. – A total of 19 Miami Hurricanes received All-ACC honors, as announced by the conference on Tuesday afternoon. This marks the second consecutive year that Miami has set a program record for the most conference honorees.

Four Hurricanes earned First Team recognition: wide receiver Malachi Toney, defensive linemen Reuben Bain and Akheem Mesidor, and offensive lineman Francis Mauigoa.

Five players received Second Team honors: defensive lineman Ahmad Moten Sr., defensive back Keionte Scott, all-purpose player Malachi Toney, defensive back Jakobe Thomas, and offensive lineman Anez Cooper.

Miami Hurricanes Begin ACC Conference Play with Victory over Florida State

Quarterback Carson Beck, offensive lineman James Brockermeyer, linebacker Wesley Bissainthe, offensive lineman Markel Bell, and running back Mark Fletcher Jr. were named to the All-ACC Third Team.

An additional five Hurricanes received Honorable Mention: linebacker Mohammad Toure, defensive back Zechariah Poyser, wide receiver Keelan Marion, defensive back Damari Brown, and defensive lineman David Blay Jr.

Malachi Toney, Reuben Bain, Akheem Mesidor, and Francis Mauigoa led the group as First Team selections. Toney also earned recognition at a second position, being named Second Team All-Purpose in addition to First Team Wide Receiver.
