Miami, FL – The Miami HEAT announced today that they have signed Keshad Johnson.
Johnson, who was initially signed to a Two-Way Contract on July 1, has appeared in 13 games (all starts) for the Miami HEAT’s G League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce. He has averaged 21.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.54 steals, and 34.9 minutes per game, with shooting percentages of 54.9% from the field, 39.6% from three-point range, and 79.5% from the free throw line.
Johnson has recorded three double-doubles and maintains a team plus/minus of +135. Additionally, he has appeared in three games with the Miami HEAT, totaling two points and three rebounds.
Johnson concluded his college basketball career at Arizona after transferring from San Diego State. Throughout his time in college, he compiled a record of 119-30 (.799) in games he participated in. As a fifth-year senior at Arizona, he received an Honorable Mention for the Pac-12 All-Defensive Team and was a semifinalist for the Karl Malone Power Forward of the Year Award.
Johnson ranked second on the team in rebounds and blocks, third in minutes played, and fourth in points, steals, field goals made, three-point field goals made, and free throws made. Additionally, he played a key role in leading San Diego State to the 2023 NCAA Championship game.
