The Chicago Sky fell to the Connecticut Sun, 54-87, at Mohegan Sun Arena on Thursday, Sept. 19.
With the loss, the Sky are eliminated from playoff contention. With the Sky losing, Atlanta winning and Washington winning, Chicago finished 10th in the standings with a 13-27 record. Additionally, the Sky lost the season series 0-4 and drop to 7-13 on the road, 5-15 against the Eastern Conference and 35-36 against New York all time.

Dana Evans led the Sky in scoring in the final game of the season with 14 points off the bench. Isabelle Harrison recorded a 13-point, 11-rebound double-double and Kaela Davis scored a season-high 12 points.
Dijoinai Carrington scored 12 points and pulled down a career-high 12 rebounds to help lead the Sun. Tyasha Harris led Connecticut with 15 points while Alyssa Thomas stuffed the stat sheet with 13 points, seven assists and five rebounds. DeWanna Bonner scored 11, Marina Mabrey notched 12 points and Olivia Nelson-Ododa recorded 12 points to round out Connecticut’s double-figure scorers.
Davis scored her first points in a Sky uniform.
Alyssa Thomas tied Shannon Johnson for 20th on the WNBA’s all-time steals list with 494 career steals after Thursday’s game.
