Cincinnati Open Achieves Record Attendance

The 2024 Cincinnati Open achieved a record attendance of 205,068, marking the inaugural occasion in which the tournament attracted over 200,000 attendees during a single-week event.

This total does not account for the 7,002 individuals who participated in the inaugural Community Day, an event that successfully raised nearly $200,000 for local charitable organizations.

“We are thrilled with the response to this year’s tournament,” said Tournament Director Bob Moran. “From the beginning, we said you only get to turn 125-years-old once, and we certainly celebrated that in style this year. Our fans brought tremendous enthusiasm that pumped energy throughout every minute of the tournament. We’re delighted to see how they responded to our upgrades and engaged with the tennis, entertainment, food, drink and shopping that we had to offer.”

Thirteen out of the sixteen sessions of the tournament experienced full attendance, with nine of those sessions setting new records for their respective categories. Additionally, the highest attendance for a single session was reached on the opening day of match play, Sunday, August 11, with a total of 14,852 attendees.

The 2025 Cincinnati Open is scheduled to take place from August 5 to August 18.
