Las Vegas Raiders 2025 Season Preview and prediction

I would like to share that, in my opinion, the Oakland Raiders—formerly the Los Angeles Raiders and now the Las Vegas Raiders—possess some of the most distinguishable and iconic uniforms in the NFL. The Baltimore Ravens also have a strong design, making them a close contender, but the silver and black color scheme remains my favorite.

The team itself will not get to show off their uniforms in the super bowl this year but expect the Raiders to improve from their 4-13 record from last season. Pete Carroll has experienced only four losing seasons throughout his 18-year NFL coaching career. Offensive coordinator Chip Kelly, who contributed to Ohio State’s national championship victory last season, has a roster rich with talent to explore innovative strategies. Although Las Vegas possesses a solid foundation for future success, Carroll is focused on achieving immediate results, and his team is expected to compete effectively each week.

The Dolphins make me cry, Miami Dolphins 2025 season preview and prediction

Over the past three seasons, Geno Smith has demonstrated superior accuracy among quarterbacks in the league, ranking fourth in completion percentage and first in off-target rate. During the same period, Raiders quarterbacks ranked 25th in completion percentage and 23rd in off-target rate.

The Raiders experience a notable talent gap at several positions. Jakobi Meyers and Tre Tucker are the only wide receivers to have exceeded 500 receiving yards in a season. Eric Stokes has started 32 career games, while the remaining players in the group have a combined total of 22 starts. To address these depth challenges, the team will rely on contributions from rookies such as wide receiver Dont’e Thornton Jr., cornerback Darien Porter, and defensive tackles Tonka Hemingway and J.J. Pegues.

It is anticipated that the Raiders will achieve approximately 8 wins this season, representing a significant increase from their previous total.
