Arike Ogunbowale guided Team WNBA to a successful victory against Team USA, with an impressive audience of 16,407 in attendance at Footprint Center

Pitbull performed at halftime for the 2024 WNBA All-Star game as one of his hit songs would say, “Don’t stop the party.”

The All-Star game met expectations as Team WNBA and Team USA brought the intensity to Phoenix.

The first half was competitive, but the second half belonged to Dallas Wings guard Arike Ogunbowale.

Ogunbowale was scoreless in the first half with two assists; in the second half, she had an all-star scoring record with 34 points. Team WNBA won 117 to 109 in an upset win over Team USA.

“Coach Miller pointed me out at halftime, I love competition,” Ogunbowale said.

Ogunbowale scored 21 points in the third; Team USA scored 25 points.

Allisha Gray has achieved a significant milestone as the first player in WNBA history to secure both the 3-point and skills titles in a single season

She earned her second all-star MVP award, becoming the fourth player to win the award multiple times. Coincidentally, the first time she won was in 2021, the last time the league used the Team USA versus Team WNBA format.
