Angel Reese achieves Double-Double in All-Star Debut

Angel Reese became the first WNBA rookie to record a double-double in an All-Star game after notching 11 points and 11 rebounds in tonight’s game

This is the 14th time in WNBA All-Star game history that a player has recorded a double-double

Reese is the 10th player to record a double-double in an All-Star game (Joining Thompson, Griffith, Leslie, Bird, Cash, Catchings, Clarendon, Jones and Griner).

Reese is the eighth player to record a points-rebounds double-double in All-Star game history (Bird and Clarendon recorded double-doubles with points and assists).

Arike Ogunbowale guided Team WNBA to a successful victory against Team USA, with an impressive audience of 16,407 in attendance at Footprint Center

She is just the second rookie to record 10 or more rebounds in an All-Star game, joining Aliyah Boston (2023 – 11 rebounds).

This is the 20th time in All-Star game history that a player has recorded 10 or more rebounds.

Reese led all players in the All-Star game in rebounds with 11. She currently ranks second in the WNBA in regular season rebounds per game with 11.9.

This is the 11th time a rookie has scored 10 or more points in an All-Star game.
